Blacksheep is a modern American restaurant located at the corner of Boundary and Harrington in the northwest quadrant of historic Beaufort, SC. I make food based on the seasons and have always devoted half of the menu to vegetable forward dishes. The menu changes as I feel like it and the wines change to match it. There’s no dress code (no wet swimsuits), the music is what I like to listen to while I’m working, and none of the napkins really match. The lights are probably too low in all honesty, but we’re not performing surgery in here. Champagne is and always should be a thing. Wine here is as intentional as the food. Krista busts her ass trying to find delicious wines that aren’t the same tired labels every single other restaurant offers. If you’re unsure, just ask. 

*We probably have a stigma around us that we’re hoity toity and that the restaurant has rules or whatever. All of that is made up. The restaurant seats fewer than 27 people. If it’s full, it didn’t take that many folks to make it happen. The “rules” we employ are because we want every guest to have the same experience. There’s no preference given to anyone, at any time. Show up for your reservation at the time you made. And don't tell me about the food allergy that you just contracted while getting out of your car. Trust the process. It’s a restaurant, after all. We want you to enjoy it all more than you probably want to enjoy it. It’s our whole lives.
